Sarah Dousse is a Swiss illustrator and creative thinker based in London. In 2014, she graduated with a BA in Illustration & Comic design before moving to the UK where she worked in advertising as a visualiser. Keen to further develop her storytelling skills, she enrolled for an MA in Communication Design which she completed in 2018.
Her MA thesis was shaped through discussions with both teachers and researchers on how to prevent the grooming of children aged between eight and ten. The project is an interactive graphic novel which lets both adults and young people play and replay different scenarios from the perspective of a young girl who is being groomed. The reader can help teach the young girl to seek help whilst simultaneously pursuing their curiosity, pushing the girl’s community to investigate her behaviour. The reader’s choices will influence the flow of the narrative.
