Geometric typography for the band alt-J became the basis of the entire visual language with the goal of creating a comprehensive identity for the band’s tour
The alt-J brand was based on the band’s name, which is taken from the keyboard shortcut for the delta symbol (∆)
The stage design extends from the concept of the triangle while bringing in the element of optical illusion. The simulation of space through moving geometric visuals creates a surreal experience for audiences
Designing the concert experience included the promotional material which was conceptualised as an installation piece set up outside the concert venues
The installation piece reveals a unique visual when viewed at every angle but spells out alt-J in triangles when seen from the four main surfaces
For Travel That Works, is an award-winning rebranding project of Crowne Plaza hotels. Developed as an entry to the D&AD New Blood Awards 2017, the piece won a Graphite Pencil under the mentorship of tutor, Peter Smith. The concept stems from the hotel chain’s internationality, with the grid representing the world map. This grid makes itself presents in all components of the brand, from the logo to the hotel packaging to the interior design
The brand creates a bespoke experience for customers in every country they visit Crowne Plaza. Customised packaging designs inspired by each country’s cultural colours are present in every detail
To reach the market of young business travellers, the language of the brand uses humour to establish an approachable atmosphere
Exploded is an exhibition that looks inside the mind of iconic film director, Christopher Nolan
The exhibition is a chronological showcase of Nolan’s films and creative process. The journey begins with a life-sized installation piece of a Super8 camera, the first camera Nolan used as a child. Within the installation details of Nolan’s works are displayed in sequence ending in his latest film
